I’ve written so many different versions of this but the importance of the message is the same.
If you are stuck, standing still, taking NO action towards your goal, you must ask yourself “what is stopping me?” It’s time to get really honest with yourself. It’s time to truly reflect on what it is that is keeping you stuck.
What beliefs do you have about moving forward that are paralysing you? Beliefs can be changed. They are just made up ideas, after all. We just have a strong feeling placed on them and have found evidence to support them. But you can change your beliefs.
What habits do you have that are keeping you stuck? Habits are sneaky little buggers that keep us quiet, compliant and in our comfort zone. Just because you’ve always done something doesn’t mean it is right to do it any more. If it no longer serves you, drop it like its hot. Habits can be changed. Perhaps its time to foster healthy habits.
Finally, what limits are you placing on yourself? What are you choosing to let stand between you and your goal? It’s not about pretending the limits or obstacles don’t exist. Instead, it’s about choosing to see them as opportunities or challenges to overcome. Not reasons to quit.
Ultimately, it’s about your commitment to success. The people who win, the people who succeed are just people who didn’t see quitting as an option.
