This week has been a doozy of a week for me emotion wise. And I’m going to get real with you here. Life is all about the ups and downs. I’m not immune to that. And this week was complete case a point for that. In the space of 5 days I have felt…
…giddy and happy.
…I could go on…
I felt the whole rainbow of emotions. And no matter what I’m feeling there is always one thing that helps me 1) process what I’m feeling 2) helps me move THROUGH the emotion quicker 3) picks me up and gets me back to a high state.
What is this magical solution that can dramatically transform emotions and energy?
I think music is highly beneficial and can support us in so many different ways. Music helps us to feel and express ourselves when we don’t have the words or when we don’t know how.
One of my favourite things to do is to create playlists on Spotify. I’ve got playlists for when I feel like dancing and want to feel upbeat, I’ve got playlists for when I feel sad and just want a good cry and I’ve got playlists that help me focus when I want to work.
I highly recommend putting together a playlist for yourself as part of a self-love routine. You will soon discover how healing and supportive music can be when you are feeling low.
